\/ G A E - \/ D CG E \/ D CG E \/<\/strong>\n\n <strong>The surroundings are grave, but the wall stretches on<\/strong>\n <strong>And it tells how the first trees took hold<\/strong>\n <strong>To flourish for eons, before that red dawn<\/strong>\n <strong>Where dark brine and ruin brought horror untold<\/strong>\n <strong>\/ B7 - G A \/ C B7 E E \/  B7 - G A \/ C D E E \/ <\/strong> \n\n <strong>There the script changes, Jagged and raw<\/strong>\n <strong>As if a new hand went to carve<\/strong>\n <strong>But the syntax is strange, and follows no law<\/strong>\n <strong>After that, any story, is pieces and shards<\/strong>\n <strong>\/ E D A E \/ D CG E \/ E D A E \/ G A E E \/ <\/strong> \n\n <strong>Runes come to an end, the mural comes in<\/strong>\n <strong>And the sacrifice shown in detail<\/strong>\n <strong>The cowled, horned priests who brought the herd in<\/strong>\n <strong>marks on the bones, show what that entailed<\/strong>\n <strong>\/ A G E - \/ G A E - \/ D CG E \/ D CG E \/<\/strong>\n\n <strong>Our party is shocked, we back towards the door<\/strong>\n <strong>But the portal is covered by bars<\/strong>\n <strong>Obsidian hall comes to life with a roar,<\/strong>\n <strong>There stand druids with sickles, and grotesque kithars<\/strong>\n <strong>\/ B7 - G A \/ C B7 E E \/  B7 - G A \/ C D E E \/ <\/strong> \n\n <strong>They strum out the notes, that bring madness to bear<\/strong>\n <strong>My comrades fell in with bare hands<\/strong>\n <strong>Possessed and transformed, by some curse in the lair<\/strong>\n <strong>My friends were no longer quite woman or man<\/strong>\n <strong>\/ E D A E \/ D CG E \/ E D A E \/ G A E E \/<\/strong>\n \n <strong>Since then I've been trapped, in this windowless cell<\/strong>\n <strong>I cannot know why I was spared<\/strong>\n <strong>I know I look ragged, I fear for my health<\/strong>\n <strong>I beg for my freedom, I crave the fresh air<\/strong>\n <strong>\/ A G E - \/ G A E - \/ D CG E \/ D CG E \/<\/strong>\n\n <strong>Let me out, Let me out,<\/strong> <strong>Just open the door<\/strong>\n <strong>Please, my fair strangers, free me from this place<\/strong>\n <strong>I can't stand the howls, that come from the floor\n Let me out, let me out, or I'll gnaw off your face!<\/strong>\n <strong>\/ B7 -
